Reader, teacher, lifelong overthinker

I am a primary school teacher.

I live in the south of England and love living right by the sea.

I love animals, especially dogs and primates, and believe they are better than people.

I am an avid reader.

I love nature and being outside.

I love astronomy and will happily spend my nights staring at the stars (mostly in the summer when it is warmer!)

I am happiest when snuggled up with a book and a hot drink in my library, walking along the beach in the early evening or visiting my happy place; Monkey World.

I have created this site because I love to read and review books. My reviews are always honest, often long and tend to get a bit gushy if I’ve really enjoyed the book. I don’t really use star ratings because I find it so difficult to compare books that are often so different.
